Life Lessons: Foreign Cinema

A new series on lessons learnt by trial and error. Mostly by error.

When watching a biopic of a Czech director, it's always useful to check whether subtitles are turned on before you start watching. Instead of, say, waiting 10 minutes in the vain hope that someone will start speaking in English.
Then having to sheepishly go back and switch the subtitles on.
