A website review of a hotel I'd like to share:

Too far from the centre
This hotel would be fine if you were driving in Paris but was not at all suitable if you were not. There are no cash machines in the area, the nearest train station is a 30 minute walk or 10 euro taxi ride. There is nothing to do at night in the area and the recommended night-club next door looks well dodgy. The view from our room was of a burnt out, turned over car and there were airplanes landing every 10 minutes or so which were very noise and made getting a nights sleep very difficult. We were booked to stay 4 nights but ended up looking for another hotel in the centre which we did and we stayed the last 2 nights in a hotel with a view of the eiffel tower. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
be prepared to pay extra for a decent hotel because it will make the difference to your holiday.

But wait, there's more!

bad choice
this hotel has a mold problem. the hotel is gross and is far away from the city of paris. the breakfast costs money, and is small. i had a horriable allergice reaction to the mold in the building and had to stay in another hotel, which costs me more money that upgrading in the first place would have. if you have any choice, do not choose this hotel. you will regret it.

OK, I get the picture. I think I may cross ths one off my list.
